Ethical Animal
This website represents an ethical vegetarian perspective on human relations to animals and the environment. It is closely aligned with ecofeminism and the ethic of care. While not technophobic, these pages also express a deep concern with the ever-increasing destructive potential of human technology to life on Earth.
My request to the viewers of my webpage is to keep an open mind, exercise compassion and try to enter into the vegetarian perspective. It can radically transform the way you view and act in the world, hopefully for the better. I also once indulged in animal flesh and exploited animals in other ways too. I have been fortunate enough to realise that these practices and the accompanying human supremacist ideology have no place in the life of an ethical animal.
The ethical vegetarian perspective is meant to illuminate a massive ethical blind spot in the human treatment of other animals, and the practice of vegetarianism can help to heal the wounds our carnivorous habits are inflicting on the planet, on its other inhabitants and on our own (better) human nature.
